PAWS Academy After-school Club

Our PAWS Academy After-school Club meets weekly at Cache Humane Society throughout the school year.  Participants learn how to responsibly interact with animals, are introduced to opportunities and careers in animal welfare, and make fun arts and crafts.

Our Paws Academy participants also help our team find loving homes for animals by assistanting with training, socialization, and volunteer tasks around the shelter.

PAWS Academy: 7 to 12 years of age.  Children will be introduced to the key principles of animal rescue, basic obedience training, and how to provide essential care for animal companions.  They will also learn about different animal breeds and temperaments, and come to understand the importance of choosing an animal with an energy level that matches that of your family.
