Hurricane Harvey Animals are coming to Cache Humane Society

All available kennel space in Texas is desperately needed to help house pets displaced by Hurricane Harvey as rescue groups work to reunite families and pets. Cache Humane Society is working with Best Friends Animal Society and a network of rescue partners to empty out Texas shelters.

We need your help now:

Kuranda Beds for incoming dogs: We do not have enough beds, and these dogs deserve a soft place to rest.  Small/Medium beds are needed the most.  Order here for special pricing and ship straight to Cache Humane Society.

Shelter Supplies: Unopened bags of dog food, laundry detergent, and office paper are all needed to care for and process incoming dogs.

Volunteer: We ask our volunteers to commit 2 hours per week to help us care for our shelter animals.  Volunteers are also welcome to take shelter animals on day-trips around town or on their favorite hike.  Approved dogs and cats can even go on sleepovers!  Apply here.

Foster: We need foster caregivers!  House a shelter dog in your home; we provide all food and veterinary care.  Extra space will help us save more lives.  Apply here

Donate: Hurricane Harvey dogs will need vaccinations, spay/neuter, and daily care.  On average, it costs $14/day to care for each incoming dog.  Please contribute here.
