How Cache Humane Society Helps Animals in Need
Cache Humane Society's mission is to be the center of animal welfare, recovery and adoption activity in Cache Valley, and we work tirelessly every day to achieve this goal.
We work widely to support responsible pet ownership in the local community through our many education programs and other services. We also work closely with other animal agencies that support animal welfare in Cache Valley, including Animal Control.
- We provide a safe, judgment-free place for owners to surrender pets when they can no longer provide care
- We house Lost animals until they can be reunited with their owners
- We find loving, new homes for pets without an owner through adoption
- We work proactively to reduce pet homelessness by providing affordable spay/neuter services and community education programs.
How can you help our animals?
Please consider adopting an animal from our shelter before you decide to buy a pet from a newspaper advertisement, breeder or large store. Most of the animals at our shelter find themselves here through no fault of their own. Many have been family pets previously and are comfortable and happiest in a home environment. They are just waiting to be rescued by you!
If you have space in your home and heart for an animal, but cannot commit to long term ownership, you may be an ideal candidate to be a Foster Carer. Foster Carers offer a short term safe environment for animals which need extra support away from the shelter until they find their forever home.
