The CHS education program has two components. The first is Reading with Cats, which meets weekly.  The other component is community outreach. CHS volunteers and representatives from animal control go to talk to schools (usually elementary and preschool), scout groups and anyone else interested in the humane treatment of animals. The exact content varies with the audience.
